@naturegirl5 Thank you so much. I downloaded the PDF of the website you shared.
My appt is 13 May with the oncologist my Dr recommended and is down in Scottsdale Az. So rather than wait I want to get a handle on what I am facing and how critical is is to be seen ASAP. Getting in Mayo may take time, but I still plan to look into it. I’ve read a lot in the support group already and plan to keep up with it. Again, thx so much for your help!!!

@camaroyo May 13 is this Wednesday. I’m glad you got in with the oncologist quickly. It’s difficult to know how quickly a referral to Mayo will get you in. I hope that the information I shared will help you to formulate your questions.

One time when I came in to an appointment with my questions written ahead of time - it was for a fracture in my knee and unrelated to cancer - my doctor said at the end, “Did I answer all of your questions?”. That’s when I realized that not only had I thought of my questions ahead of time but the doctor appreciated that I was organized in my visit.

Will you come back and let me know what you learn from at your oncology appointment on the 13th?
