I quit marijuana use on March 1st. I had to quit as I am a kidney donor through Scripps Green Hospital. I did enjoy it but it created anxiety when I ran out or there were no discounts at the dispensary. 2 months without it and Im better off than with it. I have severe spinal stenosis, herniated disc, degenerative disc disease, degenerative joint disease in my right shoulder and carpal tunnel bilaterally. All this and Im still donating a kidney. I do miss marijuana but I dont miss the dependency. I use walking as my drug. Motion is medicine. When walking, I practice mindfulness and meditation while strengthening my agency through neuroplasticity exercises. I am not drug free as I do 300mg of pregabalin daily to help my sleep. Ill say it again, Motion is Medicine. Go outside, get some air and sunshine 🌞. Meet people. Explore new routes. Life is an amazing adventure.
