I bought Joan Rivers Best Hair Day. It’s a powder that you apply by brush to the bald spots in your scalp.
Now there are better products to use but the coverage gave me confidence.
Now I’ve got wispy white hair growing back at my hairline where the bald spots used to be.
Will I color my hair?
No way! I earned those white strands!

Chances are the hair loss is from stress. Surgery and radiation to breast isn’t necessarily a reason for hair loss unless there is some other medical reason that was impacted by the procedures.
Hormone treatment and chemo affect hair. When my estrogen was reduced by the 20 mg tamoxifen, I lost some hair in a typical male pattern. This would most likely happen with an AI, depending on your own body’s reaction to it.
On 5 mg tamoxifen my hair started filling back in as the impact to estrogen reduction is mostly in breast and fat tissue not the whole body.
I have recently tested as sub-clinical hypothyroidism (TSH rising but below treatable level). Both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism can cause hair loss. I feel like I’m playing with fortune cards - different cards turn up causing different side effects every time I play.
My life path is littered with an ever increasing number of stumbles. But so far they have all been recoverable, and I’ve met the nicest people along the path!
