My situation is severe leg pain when standing up from a chair. I walk very slowly as my lower legs feel as if they have weighs attached. I do not have any balance problems or numbness. The pain subsides when I sit or lay down. EMG, NCS and a MRI show the nerves in my legs are "DEAD".
I think surgery is what I am facing although I haven't heard from my doctor yet. Anybody had my problems and what was your outcome?
