@sbn4, I'm pretty much in the same boat at age 83. I have numbness and some tingling but no pain in both legs and feet from idiopathic small fiber peripheral neuropathy. I tire easily from standing up long periods and sometimes even short periods. I shared my neuropathy journey in another discussion here - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/310341/. I do think supplements can help some but not sure they will fix anything and there are many different scams out there so we all have to be wary and do some research on anything we think might help.

I'm glad to hear that you are fairly active because I think that is one of the important things to keep our mobility. I do exercise some daily and wished I could walk more but walking is not something I do well. Have you looked into any physical therapy to see if it might be helpful for your sometimes frozen right foot?

The supplements are impressive but way too expensive...I have just eliminated all of my debt except mortgage and am not going to charge hundreds for a pill that may work a little!
I can mix my own concoctions and take a BComplex with extra B12...I already take D3 daily and can add magnesium...
I won't listen to anyone else's raps about a pill...too annoying and long winded. If something really works I am sure someone could just say it clearly and directly!
My neuropathy is from an accident on Jan 3, 1973...all lower extremity issues and finally back surgery. My left ankle is now asking for attention....I am hoping to try stem cell if there is enough soft tissue. Since I eliminated the salt from the Dr Oz remedy it seems some new sensations are coming into my feet...most interesting...if anyone wants that recipe I will list it if you ask to avoid your having to listen to too long a rap to get to it..but he does give it!
Thank you for responding... I really appreciate it. But these remedies are insane at the prices being asked of octogenarians! really! and I am still working but it is still too costly. I will use herbs by bulk at the health food store.....
Take care,
Be well,
Love n Peace!
