I’m also a brca2. My bc was detected early by self breast exam. Are you taking aromatase inhibitor along with lynparza? I’m only prescribed ai for 5 years. I wonder why parp inhibitors are not included in my treatment. I’ll will ask my onco in the next appointment. Is lynparza prescribed to you because of TNBC? Thanks.

@myoga - lynparza was prescribed because brca2+ - its supposed to help repair damaged DNA cells. I took the med for 18 mo at a lower dosage, the full dosage gave me sudden explosive diarrhea, so I took a lower dosage for a longer period of time. I believe it had just be approved for BC with BRCA mutation when I took it.
