Testing before and during fosamax (alendronate) after Tymlos

I completed Tymlos regime Sept 2022 - Aug 2024. After getting DEXA and blood test (CTX & P1NP) started on Fosamax. At one year all markers were good so continuing with Fosamax. My insurance pays for DEXA evry two years, hence didn't have DEXA in 2025. My annual Endo appt is in Oct. 2026, when I will repeat DEXA and CMP, Lipid Profile, and CTX + P1NP.

@rajmayo22 @njx58 Did you test P1NP and CTX the last week of Tymlos and then start alendronate immediately after last Tymlos injection? My doctor agreed to order the tests for me but she does not use them to treat so I wasn’t sure of the protocol. Thanks!
