@dvargo , Would you mind sharing what type of machine your bmd was measured on? Was it a DEXA or REMS? I had a similar gain on BHRT after one year measured on a REMS, so am curious to know if a DEXA would show similar results.

@debbie1956 I did the Rems last year, spine -2.9. This year Rems -2.4. I have a dexa this fall to see the difference. I am told Rems is more accurate.

@debbie1956, HRT (estrogen) is well known to have a positive effect on bone density - many clinical studies show an average increase of about 2-6% (as measured by DXA scan) at various sites over the first 1-2yrs. Hope your DXA shows a similar trend to what you're seeing on REMs!
