I had a shortness of breath with exercise, climbing my stairs, etc following covid as well; 2 of my doctors recommended LDN, starting with a dose of 1.5 mg because I don't take medications very well; I react to a lot of them.

After much research, good research and reading of some good results; in the first week, I took it at bedtime and upon waking the first day, I felt amazing and during the first week, I noticed that the shortness of breath that I had been having that the doctors couldn't figure out, went away, and it has stayed away.
I was prescribed LDN for a series of issues I retained from retaining a contrast dye in my system following an MRA (mri of the neck arteries) and I never took the covid vaccine because my doctor told me that my immune system was already compromised from retaining the heavy metal contrast dye in my system and they said that the vaccine would further compromise my immune system, as does having covid, as we now know.

So I didn't get the vaccine, but I did get covid one time and so I had some cross over issues that were acquired from the contrast dye and having covid. My immune system is healing. I know that because I keep my blood work; also know that there is a "comprehensive list of illnesses acquired following covid" list; should try to pull that up...heart stuff, diabetes, blood clots in the lungs, blood vessels, etc., tremors that have often being misdiagnosed as Parkinsons, and the list is long.

I have gone back and looked at my bloodwork starting in 2/2023 when I had covid, and immediately following covid, my numbers were ok; I have only looked at 3 of them recently and noticed in 2023 they were good, but in 2024 through 2025 they rose to bad numbers, these three being creatine, eGFR, and Glucose.

I started taking the LDN late June or mid July 2025 and can see where my numbers were at that time, then in bloodwork I did in September, 2025, after taking LDN for a couple of months, my numbers had rebounded back to a good place, and my shortness of breath has gone away, aches and pains in mucsles and joints, gone as well, so I am happy to be taking the LDN. It's benefits are many.

@lesligirl02 Thank you for the information. I have decided to try out LDN and will see what happens. I also react very strongly to many medications so I will start very low and see. the common symptom that worries me the most is insomnia so I will take it in the morning.
