I was taking beta blockers with perfect blood pressure and heart rate from 56-62.
I stopped taking beta blockers nine months after my aorta was repaired last year. I hated the zombie feeling.
Slowly tapered down and then my appetite got high to point I gained 20 pounds despite walking 5 miles daily.
Key is blood pressure
I’m down 30 pounds from start of year.
Look up high percentage of people stopping beta blockers something like 40%.
This is my personal experience

@kash2025 Thanks for clarifying. Your first post made it sound like you stopped beta prior to your OHS. Certainly, when your BP is "perfect", why take meds.
