@jlharsh I have an appt at Mayo June 1st with Dr Kopecky. I finally decided I’m tired of being a guinea pig with all the failed statin treatments and having my overall health and wellbeing diminished.
What I was wondering is if you had your CK (creatin kinase) levels checked and if so how high they might have been? Mine has been registering 340 at the most recent blood test.

@dlkreps, great news! I believe Dr. Kopecky will be able to help you figure out what is happening. You have had a long road, and a June 1 appointment is just around the corner. Please tell him, ‘hi’.

My CK creatine kinase (CK) has been as high as 500+, and also read critical problems happen at levels 5,000-10,000. My experience has been Mayo Clinic takes a conservative approach to identify what is (and is not) causing problems. They are aggressive once they know how to they can help. This will be important information to bring with you (if you haven’t provided already).

I am tagging @wgr123 who has also seen Dr. Kopecky, Mayo Clinic Cardiology.

How are you feeling? Do you have other appointments or tests initially scheduled?
