you were wise not to go with megestrol ( megace) it has far worse side effects than the ADT. You might try taking vitamin B6 for the hot flashes. I think you will find all the extreme ADT side effects mitigate some as you get thru first 2 months..
( I have been on ADT 10 months- just got a Rx for the megestrol early April..that shit is nasty.. by far worse side effects than the ADT... muscle aches, rash, bloating, gas, weight gain, flu like symptoms...how do people take that shit?? it was prob my worst 2 days since my PC diagnosis..or right up at the top)

@xahnegrey40 lololol. Went to my PCP and she suggested back cosish. Said it did really great for her.

I know that the depo-provera Shots I got every three months to stop my hot flashes really worked and caused no side effects at all.
Some people say gabapentin works for them, I know other people on Oxybutynin and say it works really well for them. Some people have had Acupuncture and after two or three sessions found that it worked for them, Others say it didn’t.
The Embrlabs.com Wave 2 device worked well for me when my hot flashes weren’t real severe. It worked really great at night to stop the night sweats.
