My frustration is off the charts

It sounds as though the problem with dementia is that the dementia also prevents the patient from knowing they are off the radar screen. How can you be there for someone who doesn't "think" there's anything wrong?

@shmerdloff Exactly!! If anyone has that answer, please post! Linda

@shmerdloff Definitely a true statement. My husband was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, which I haven't seen anyone else here on this forum talk about? But so often, he says, I don't think I have that. I almost have to laugh-as ALL of his symptoms are spot on with Lewy Body. It's just a total crap way to go out. No cure, progression...... and just not much knowledge of the disease at all. So many stages, good days, bad days. I said it before in reply to another post-I've come to realize that this is happening for a reason. Seems almost cruel, but something will be learned, some sort of growth will happen... Something positive will come of all of this. We have to be strong like bull!!! 😉
