@ppm7 I also need to have a new crown to replace an old filling. Should I reschedule? I’m schedule for my third Evenity injection next week. I think I’m going to wait on the crown. The tooth isn’t bothering me.
@bonita55 I waited until two months after my last Evenity injection to have the new crown. My doctor, dentist and I all agreed that was the best thing to do. There were no problems.
@bonita55 Check with you endocrinologist. I beleive you need to be on antibiotics for Crowns, etc.
I had to have a crown replaced while on Evenity and my dentist does not consider that major dental work. It did not cause me any issues at all. Best of luck to all who need this type of procedure!
Unfortunately, I must have a tooth extracted after 10 months on Evenity. As a bad result of a root canal 8 years ago, the tooth must be pulled because I have an infection and a hole in my jaw.
My dentist is well aware of the circumstances
I had the same problem. Except I was on prolia. Which is the same as evenity as far as I know. I had to wait almost 10 months for an extraction. Now I need dentures. !!! What a drag
