I was incorrectly thinking of using a BlueTooth keyboard with my cell phone, but I don't think that's a possibility. I looked up everything I could find about making the keypad larger on a cell phone and I couldn't find anything that would allow making the keys wider as well as taller. I don't need taller keys if they are still as narrow as they regularly are.

I have so many keyboards that have come with various computer equipment that I have refused to purchase a new one, and I've used the keyboard I preferred until it died, and then the next preferred. You guessed it; I'm now using the next to the least favorite. There is only one more up on the closet shelf, and I may just let it go when I recycle some computer equipment.

Joan, I understand completely what you are going through.
As a tech writer for many years, I was able to talk to an Apple Engineer.
When queried regarding the keyboard, this was his honest answer:
“iPhones have a certain amount of “real estate and due to thst fact, we can’t fit a larger keyboard into the Apple ecosystem.”

In plain English that means IPhones don’t have a screen large enough for a keyboard with spaces between the keys.

So I asked what is the solution, to which he replied voice dictation, stylus or external keyboard.

Thanks, no help at all!
My only hope is that if Apple does indeed sell a foldable phone that they will include and expanded keyboard. One can only hope!
