Thoughts on multivitamins containing selenium and prostate cancer?
Decades ago, I had a period where I was vitamin D deficient (I’m not a fan of, well, the outside), so my PCP recommended a standard OTC multivitamin (Centrum).
Just the other day, randomly reading PCa literature, I came across a little blurb about how selenium, commonly included in multivitamins) may - and a strong emphasis on may - encourage recurrence in PCa patients.
While I plan on asking my oncologist at my next checkup, I’m curious if anyone here has any thoughts one way or the other about it.
Thanks.

Yah, I've mostly gone away from full-fat dairy, except for a few TJ Greek yogurts, lol, including the honey flavor, and I don't have them very often.
I went through a cottage cheese phase. I go back and forth on cheese generally. Gave up on liquid milk many years ago, has a surprising number of carbs that didn't fit my carb budget.

I've been around that myself growing up. So will a dog if you give it to them, otherwise they would never get it. Barn cats live the life of Riley. Ever seen an adult cow/bull sucking on its mother? Everything else except humans is weaned off of it. We continue to consume it because we can and we can get it/are given it. IIRC we were raised on cow's milk which nowdays seems to be a no no and has been for years. If we were like the rest of the animal kingdom we'd be off of it as soon as our mothers got tired us.
