@shellinaya I called the company that makes AlgaeCal and asked about it's strontium content because I take a different algae sourced calcium pill (New Chapter) and it's ingredients list shows trace amounts of strontium. Strontium is in all sea food so I knew AlgaeCal must have some too. The company verified their pills do contain trace amounts but since the amount can vary depending on the batch of algae used, they don't list it on their label. Strontium is a natural element in the earth and is in lots of foods we eat, at trace amounts.

@daisy17 I'm skeptical about that article, simply because they are trying to sell their product. I'm not taking strontium because I think it may burden my kidneys, which are ok, but I've read several times that it makes the kidneys work harder to filter or process it. Same with whey protein powder, makes the kidneys work harder.
