what is your experience with fosamax?

@gracierose this is exactly why I hesitate to take this! My doctor recently prescribed this and the more I read about it, the less I feel I should take this. I'm in my 70's and don't want to start feeling lousy on a med that I'm not sure is worth it.

@gen55 I am also in my 70s, 75 tobe exact, and was prescribed Fosamax this February. But as I read up on it, I became terrified at the thought of taking this med and opted for weight training, increased calcium and vitamins. Like you, at this point in my life, I don't know if the drug is worth it.
