Need for hip replacement with no hip pain?

I had hip replacement 9 months ago and now have pain from groin to knee. So maybe our pain is from the spine? How do we find out?

@tamsue69 What does your doctor say? Have you had imaging done? My one year date is coming up in early May. My hip does not hurt but I still have pain in my leg with certain movements that is definitely muscle or tendon related….though it’s not as severe as it was. It’s doubtful that any kind of imaging would identify the source. It’ll be interesting to see what he recommends. I’m learning to live with it.
