My name is David Yapp; I retired from work two months ago. I was a financial controller for 4 life science companies (Baxter Healthcare, Novartis, Amgen, and Danaher); I had an ependymoma (C6/C7) removed from my spinal cord 27 years ago which impacted my walking & pain levels (degrading over time); I'm also a type 1.5 diabetic & have to be careful of my food intake to keep my A1C below 7.0. I'm ready to start the next chapter in my life. I really like to help people like they helped me 27 years ago (a pretty scary time). If you'd like to chat or ask me questions, please feel free.

@davidyapp Hi David my name is Lori. I had an ependymoma removed 21 years ago at L1/L2. It took me years to become mobile without an aids. It took moving to a dry warm climate. The pool is what really helped me. The doctors I had at the time said there was nothing wrong with me and it was all in my head. How did they find you tumor?
