Chronic Pain, alternative Treatment
I have had chronic pain for 17 years. I know what I'm going to say will be met with doubt, but please try what I say, even though it is not completely backed up by sceince. I was on heavy doses of OPIOIDS for 16 years with no help, relieveing my pain, then I started to take Kratom, for the last year I have been Pain Free!!! If you try it , you will have to try different strains, to find out what works best for you

Found this that's just general rules http://www.sagewisdom.org/kratomguide.html
Has anyone tried Subutex or Suboxone for chronic pain?
Try to search, Maeng Da, effects, side effect it may bring you more info, if not Please let me know!!
jenapower, try Kratom Science.com, or .org!!has a lot of info!!!
The purpose of using Kratom, is to get off of Opioids, Suboxone is in the same class, as Opioids!!
I tried Suboxone, you name it I think my doctors and tried it. It does stop pain, but it's addictive just like opiates. They actually will use it to get you off opiates. They trade one for the other and then taper down the Suboxone. Then the doctor wanted me to stay on Suboxone forever to deal with the pain. The problem is, one form of it (I think it's Suboxone) as a blocker in it, or it adheres more strongly to your pain receptors. If you were to be taking it for pain and you had a car accident or needed the surgery, normal pain medication would be ineffective. I didn't want to leave myself in that vulnerable position.
Thank you I appreciate the information. I'll check it out
Jennifer @jenapower Instead of posting where he @cipaul obtains his Kratom I would recommend using Connect's direct message feature. To do so click on the members username to see his profile. From there there is an envelope icon Send Private Message.

Got it, too bad because I think there's other people that would like the information. I doubt he wants a whole ton of people emailing him. I can do that though.
Allison snow. Marield65 here. I also take opioids (Vicodin) and never got high. I never heard about getting a high on Vicodin until I connected to this group. They do help my pain but I don't like taking them but I am going to leave well enough alone. But thanks for another great idea. Marie
