Call your pharmacy and ask the pharmacist. I get my LDN from a compounding pharmacy and they have been very helpful with questions about the medication, doses, etc.

Here is a link to my compounding pharmacy, which has info on LDN. There is a brochure you can open and it says that a doctor "discovered significant positive clinical effects when prescribing Naltrexone at LOWER DOSES (0.25-8.0 mg). However, I would talk to my pharmacist before increasing my dosage about the usual 4.5mg.

@daisy17 thank you! You are so helpful. I spoke to the pharmacist. He said it’s fine, if it’s well tolerated. He compounds 6 mg and more to other patients. I don’t know if it’s a fluke or if I’m just having a couple of good days (rare), but I’ve had almost no pain in the last couple of days. It’s only been 3 or 4 days since I started 6 mg. We’re going on 2 days of severe weather change and was cringing at thought of posible flare.

@daisy17 I've taken 6 mg for over a year. The Doc suggested I increase from 4.5 to see if it helped more. He said they're going up to 20 mg at Stanford.
