@kjoed53 I heartily agree with D3 with magnesium. The B12 is so important also.
I have believed in supplementing our solid foods for years with vitamin supplements. The D and magnesium brought he out of a very bad episode of health. Also stopped for me being dizzy at times. As an example, I would raise from bed and the room would be spinning, so to speak.

I'm surprised that blood work to check vitamin and mineral levels is not part of our annual physical since it is a known issue as we age. My cardiologist put me on vitamin D3 and B12 years ago and I still take my multivitamin each night. If more effort was put into prevention, maybe we wouldn't need to see as many doctors.
