@lls8000 yes, I have had so many scans and a PET scan of the whole body that I think I might glow in the dark it is non-small so one cancer, which is the better of the lung cancer to have and the PET scan showed that it did not metastasized into my lymph nodes. I’m not quite sure where to get treatment yet. I’m at a good hospital right now, but there are better hospitals in Florida just further away, but thank you all bye.

@lisahar, it's never easy news to hear, but there are positives in what you've found out. It sounds like the cancer was identified early.
Receiving care close to home certainly has benefits. If you are able and interested, sometimes a second opinion hospital can help to drive decisions, while still having treatments at your home hospital. I've visited with doctors at larger teaching facilities when I wasn't sure about treatments that were presented to me at my home hospital. Both sides seemed happy to work with the other, and I felt more confident in the plan. Hoping that you find some peace in your decisions. Sending hugs.
