Sorry to hear you have not heard the results. When is your follow-up appointment. Some facilities do not want to post the biopsy results until after the in-person follow-up appointment.
Best Wishes
Call and check what is going on - the last thing you need is for them do misplace your samples or forget to examine them. We had to wait to hear results till urologist got back from business trip, which we found extremely annoying. But again, that urologist was a disaster to begin with.
If you suspect UTI please ask for them to order a test and do it.

1 ReactionWhat what you eat can affect the way your urine smells. Eating asparagus causes that to be a real problem. Check out what your diet is on the web and see if it affects the smell of urine
call immediately and get results...let them know you are not someone to put on hold and then they file their nails or make coffee til you hang up..
I always go polite but insistent at first..but give a hint that I can bull in a china shop them if need be

1 Reaction@scubadee. You might also want to call and ask them to use some of your material for a Decipher test.

3 ReactionsI can understand the part about not just posting results on a portal, but using a more personal touch. Sometimes the diagnosis of cancer can be devastating to people, and it needs to be done in a more personal setting. But those expectations should be set early on and not leave the patient hanging.
As others have said, I would pick up the phone and ask what’s going on
My biopsy was on 5/8. Dr called on Fri. evening 5/16 with results. Said he just got them that afternoon and didn't want me to wait through the weekend. (They sucked BTW)
3 weeks seems excessive enough to shake the tree. I would make the call.
They didn't send it to your portal? I'd be ringing their phone and banging on their door.
@scubadee, have you spoken with your doctor to review the results of your biopsy now? What did you find out?
It's time to call and ask. I have a bit of a hard time with this (Canadian heritage and all :), but I just tell myself that it's my life we're talking about, and nobody gets to drink coffee while I wait an unreasonably long time. They're not gods. Though we may have to think of our urologists and ROs as such from time to time, they are also part of a corporate structure that puts us all on a shelf until they are ready to deal with us. (Some outfits are better than others with this.) And they can make mistakes and misplace things - unacceptable, given the stakes. You've waited a more-than-reasonable time, so shake the tree. Good luck!
