Stopping Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT) and Zytiga (abiraterone acetate), especially if done abruptly, can lead to withdrawal symptoms and a "shock" to the system as it readjusts to changing hormone levels. The symptoms you are experiencing—body aches, tingling, severe foot pain, and arm weakness—are likely related to a combination of adrenal insufficiency, acute hormonal shifts, and residual nerve/muscle damage from long-term treatment.

Not sure how you tapered prednisone, but it must be tapered off over a month or more or side effects can really last a long time.

Cause of Aches and Weakness: When prednisone is stopped, the adrenal glands may not immediately produce enough cortisol on their own, leading to adrenal insufficiency.
Symptoms: This condition commonly manifests as extreme fatigue, generalized weakness, muscle pain, joint pain, and nausea.

When you were on ADT/Zytiga, your body was in a "super-castrate" status, which, while fighting cancer, causes significant changes to joint and bone health.

Aches and Pain: As your body begins to recover, or as hormone levels shift rapidly, you may experience increased muscle and joint pain, often referred to as musculoskeletal withdrawal symptoms

Hi, I've been having pain and numbness in my toes and feet and what I found that seems to work is vitamin B-Complex and Taurine. I do them in the morning and they seem to help me.
It can be pretty annoying trying to sleep when the feet hurt/burn.
Good luck!

I just had my hormone level tested post treatments ( 4 months ) and my hormone level is 25. (uugg)
My body aches very weak . Also having skin breakout.
I'am doing lights weights to rebuild .

Trying to find a way to increase my hormone / testosterone level.
I take B12 also taking D and calcium for my bones after finding out I have a -2.8 bone density from my cemo treatments.

You can also take testosterone injections. You need to speak to your doctor about this because for some people that can cause a quick PSA rise and bring the cancer right back. Since you have had chemo, your case must be pretty aggressive, so testosterone may not make sense for you.

The question is, Is your PSA rising at a good rate every month? I was on ADT for seven years and stopped taking it, After four months, my PSA was 29 but it was going up 25% a month. At that rate within a couple of years, it would’ve been pretty high.
