Can you still get incision site pain 9 months after a liver transplant

I am 2 years post liver transplant this coming June 14,2026, I am feeling discomfort in my incisional surgery right quadrant and this is new to me. I’m hoping that this won’t last forever, I was advised by my transplant Doctor to wear a binder. It helps a lot.

@narci Hi. I had my transplant at Mayo AZ in spring 2024. I still have occasional discomfort there but it is minor and short lasting. I did have it a little worse , bad enough to contact the doctors, a year back but that passed. Glad the binder helps. Good luck.
