Question - What do you do before bed? I am normally finishing watching TV or on my tablet.
I ask this because I have an active (ADHD) brain that never shuts down. However, recently I tried chamomile tea and boy it helps me sleep through the night. I used to sometimes wake up at 2-3am and hard time going back to bed.

I started drinking green tea vs coffee and chamomile tea, to offset fatigue and drowsiness due to cancer treatment. I also use a device called an Alpha Stim, that helps with insomnia and anxiety. I don’t like medications, trying alt ways to sleep better.

Hi! Thank you for the reply! I try to wind down as much as I can before bed. If I’ve had a very overstimulated day it’s where I have the biggest issues with my thoughts not wanting to relax with the rest of me when I get tired. I do take a very low dose of melatonin close to bedtime and also magnesium glycinate which I read has a lot of benefits for quality of sleep. I avoid prescriptions for sleep. I do like the taste of chamomile tea but I’m very inconsistent with working stuff like that into my routine for some reason but it’s a great idea and going to attempt to add it in as a nighttime thing, I think if I set an alarm for it it could be beneficial for sticking to it. And I’ll def check out the alpha stim device you mentioned, thank you again!!
