Yes, I too have had adverse reactions to drugs prescribed for A-Fib ... the Cardio-Physician-Assist. I was sent to prescribed Warfarin - it made me feel like I was 'a Space Cadet' ... I can only describe as "An Out-of-Body experience" ... I'd say to Myself, "Who Are You? Where Am I - Have I gone? I Don't Feel like ME." When I reported back to the P.A., the way she looked at me l felt like she thought I was "exaggerating" ... (disbelief)! She Even Said, "I've prescribed Warfarin to dozens of patients & I've Never Heard THAT Before!' (Would you say she was essentially calling me a Liar?)
When I saw my Dr. of Internal Medicine & told her about my experience, her response: "Are You Married to that Cardio-Group? I'd like to suggest referring you to another Cardio-Group." The New Cardio Practice scheduled me with A DR. (as opposed to a P.A.) The Cardiologist listened, worked with me, & after trying 3 other prescriptions finally found one that was compatible with My body-chemistry, i.e. No Intolerable Side Effects!!!
