Hi everyone, I like you have been living with Bronchiectasis and MAC most of my life. My pulmonologist has me on Bactrim 2x a day, and a nebulizer 3 x day. Never has he told me that there were other treatments out there that would help. The aerokia , the vibration air vest, physical therapy, or massage people who have you lying on your side and the massage or pump your ribs .
Noah Greenspan did some videos that I just saw.
Check it out.

@ellieoak We are all here to learn from one another. As far as I know, Bactrim is not an antibiotic of choice fore treating MAC. Have you considered seeing a pulmonologist who specializes in treating MAC and Bronchiectasis?

@ellieoak
I know what you are going through. My pulmonologist never did any sputum tests, ct scans or breathing tests. When I started going to Mayo, it's like he is intimidated and gets mad at me. Usually you don't keep Dr's at Mayo forever but I think I need a new local pulmonologist too. Good luck. Sometimes these specialists are hard to find.
