Anyone cure their BC with alternative methods?

Posted by whitehairwisdom @whitehairwisdom, 5 days ago

I've been reading a lot about people curing their cancer with Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, extreme diet changes, supplements, herbs, certain teas, a Rife Frequency machine, etc. Any success stories out there?

Cure is not a word that is often used in cancer. Remission or no evidence of disease (NED) are more commonly used. If you are reading about treatments that proclaim to cure cancer, I would be open-minded yet skeptical. Advertisements for cancer cures are usually scams looking for your money.

There's a lot of information as well as misinformation circulating about ivermectin, fenbendazole and the use of de-wormers as a treatment for cancer. They are not alternative treatments. They are drugs to treat river blindness (onchocerciasis), intestinal infection from threadworms (strongyloidiasis), and other kinds of worm infections. They do not clear or cure cancer.

This is what Mayo Clinic experts would like you to know:
- Mayo Clinic on use of ivermectin or other dewormers to treat cancer https://connect.mayoclinic.org/blog/about-connect/newsfeed-post/mayo-clinic-on-use-of-ivermectin-or-other-dewormers-to-treat-cancer/

There are things that you can do to reduce the risk of cancer or the risk of recurrence, like healthy living with a balanced diet and exercise, etc. But note my careful use of words. This "may reduce the risk". Unfortunately, even if we do everything "right", cancer can still strike since there are many risk factors we can't change like aging and genetics.

@whitehairwisdom, it is clear that you want to do the right thing for your health. More and more cancer centers and oncology specialists are open to discussing and integrating complementary medicine in programs called Integrative Medicine or Integrative Oncology. Integrative medicince is offered at many cancer centers of excellence, including Mayo Clinic.

Here's a link to more information about Mayo Clinic's Integrative Medicine programs

If you want to consider supplements, herbs, teas or other over-the-counter supplements, it is advisable to talk with your doctor to make sure they do no harm or interfere with any treatment you are on. Your pharmacist is a great resource for asking questions too.

There will always be theories about magical cures but I prefer to stick to science. My friend who was convinced her holistic doctor had supernatural powers in treating her digestive discomfort with herbs & potions later died from colon cancer which could easily have been treated by a competent physician. No thanks.

I doubt you'll find one here. My suggestion would be stick to evidenced-based medicine and stay away from anecdotes. If any of the things you mentioned were a real cure everyone would be doing it.

I believe that a mixture of eastern and western medicine is a pretty good balance. I do the RIFE bed. I listen to frequencies at night. And try to lay in a bed once a week. I also have grounding sheets if I can’t stand in the grass barefoot daily. Diet exercise chemo surgery ivermectin mebendazole I have done it. Next I want to try EBOO. NED is detected. Surgery was 10/13/25. Doing Anastrozole and Kisqali. Good luck. But do what you feel inside is good for you. Don’t let anyone bully you one way or the other.

@jmab Yes, I always think about rich Steve Jobs who for his cancer treatment flew to Mexico for alternative treatments. He just got sicker & his docs back in the US said too bad he wasted so much time. 🙁
A girlfriend with Ovarian cancer who was afraid of traditional cancer treatment, decided after some surgery, to change her diet ( she got very thin and unhealthy looking), only see Naturopaths, spend time in a decompression chamber to stop cancer cells, & who knows what all else, I can't remember. Unfortunately it just continued spreading and took her life after a couple of years. We were very sorry she only went the Naturapathic route; she might have tried both.

@jardinera25 yes, exactly! Why not try both? In my friend's case, she was lured into thinking the holistic "doctor" cared about her because their sessions were filled with crying & hand-holding but not much else. How terrible to prey upon sick & vulnerable people that way & trick them into thinking they're being cured. I'm sorry for both of our friends, it's such a shame.

I found another helpful piece of expert guidance from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) that underlines much of what people are discussing here.

- Alternative Cancer Treatments: The Science vs. The Hype https://www.mskcc.org/podcasts/cancer-straight-talk/alternative-cancer-treatments-science-vs-hype

In this podcast episode, "Dr. Diane Reidy-Lagunes speaks with Dr. Jun Mao, Chief of MSK’s Integrative Medicine Service, and Jason Hou, herbalist and acupuncturist at MSK, to break down the facts about alternative medicine—an approach that combines conventional cancer treatments like surgery, radiation, chemo, immunotherapy and targeted treatments, with holistic therapies like acupuncture, mindfulness, natural herbs and supplements. They address the dangers of "Why not try?" and tackle common misconceptions about alternative medicine, explaining what the science says, what’s safe, and what to avoid. "

@sbeechl, a mixture of eastern and western medicine can loosely define integrative medicine. More and more cancer centers have integrative medicine departments, researchers and physicians as part of the cancer team.

In the podcast, I just shared in the post above (https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/1552233/), Dr. Jun Mao (MSK) describes integrative medicine as bringing "therapies and practices often from other cultures and traditions – such as acupuncture, mindfulness, yoga, herbal supplements, and lifestyle modifications such as exercise, stress management, sleep management, diet – together with conventional oncological treatment to help patients feel empowered to be active participants during and beyond cancer treatment.

Alternative medicine is using a therapeutic approach instead of a conventional treatment such as chemotherapy and surgery and radiation. So the major differentiator is to use it in a synergistic way rather than choosing alternative medicine and foregoing conventional treatment."

I've noticed that some people elsewhere on social media etc refer to ivermectin and other de-worming drugs as holistic or alternative medicine. However, these drugs are not holistic. They are conventional drugs developed to used to treat worm infections. They works by interfering with the nerve and muscle functions of worms, by paralyzing and killing them.

Ivermectin is being studied for possible additional effects. This is referred to as repurposing a drug. Repurposed drugs are existing medications initially developed for other diseases but now being explored for potential anticancer properties. They might be used on their own or combined with standard therapies.

@colleenyoung
Thank you, Colleen.
I have been studying alternatives or in addition to traditional cancer therapies for quite awhile.
I would like, without censorship, to share the following for those who are seeking information outside the traditional protocols, stating, all therapies are with risk.
“Integrative medicine” is a selective term.
Its definition varies from Traditional medicine versus Alternative medicine.
With that in mind, I would like to include this article for INFORMATION not PRESCRIPTION.
1) Dr Connealys book The Cancer Revolution 2 nd ed
2) https://imahealth.org/the-metabolic-trap-targeting-five-cancer-pathways-at-once/
Read and/or watch videos Dr Malik
3) Chris Beat Cancer - The Square Program
This is a program that is extremely helpful FOR INFORMATION.
4) Radical Remission book
ALL treatments come with risks.
Alternatives do not have to be divisive. Its the patients life. Its the patients choice.
Decisions are made on many factors: age, family, faith, disposition, financial, etc.
No one, no institution has a corner on cancer treatment.
Cancer is a wild beast.
It can be calmed down, it can be tamed, it can run wild, it can be healed, it can Contribute to death.
Fact:
We are all going to die. No one escapes.
We must choose HOW we are going to Live with cancer and/or every other illness.
Let me share a personal testimony:
In my fathers life he had been treated for the following in various years:
Lymphoma, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer.
He lived to be 88 years old.
Who can I thank?
First, God.
Second, my mom. (Nutritionally feeding him and exercising together and sharing lifes adventures and pleasures)
Third, his oncologists.
In my faith:
the Bible says our days are ordained by God.
God is sovereign.
We cannot Cheat death.
Whatever trials come our way, have come for Gods purpose In us.
Life can be beautiful With Cancer.
