Hey everyone, I am Heidi, I don't even know where to start anymore. I am 46 years old and from Minnesota. So, to recap my pain history I guess I can sum it up to 7 back surgeries, 2 knee surgeries, 2-foot surgeries (opposite of knees), 4 organs removed, and my newest scar is compartment Syndrome from when I went to the Emergency Room. I went in because I could not and still do not feel my right leg. When I came out of the hospital, I was in an Arm Sling. The contrast dye blew up in my arm, and OMG did it hurt. Now this past January I was told I am in stage 4 kidney failure. To make things worse, I have blown up with water down both of my legs, they think it is from my Lyrica, so now they are taking that away from me too. I do not know what to do, I feel like they don't believe me. I have a nurse calling me weekly and that isn't helping. I am sick of being in pain I am sick of not being listened to, My depression is so bad now I don't even want to leave my room. To top it all off I work for Mayo and don't know what to do, it hurts so bad I am starting to miss work from pain.
