Have they talked to you about chemo or Pluvicto?

In the case of Advance, they put you on the two drugs and do one of those.

I’m wondering where you are being treated. I don’t think a center of excellence would just put you on those drugs and do nothing else. That’s just not standard of care treatment.

While you are on a really great combo of drugs, The fact that your metastasis are to the bone means just taking the drugs is only delaying the point of which they become a serious problem. The drugs alone do not eliminate the metastasis they just reduce it and stop it from spreading, It needs to be killed if possible. Stop taking the drugs and they come back.

You should ask the doctors that are treating you when they are going to do further treatment to actually get rid of the metastasis.

Are you willing to go to a center of excellence to get a second opinion about treatment? If you mention where you live, I can probably give you an idea of a place that could be near you. A place like that will follow the standards of care that should be followed for prostate cancer.

The facility I go to is a center for excellence facility. We haven’t ruled out chemo. We just decided to wait a few months. I’ve had a rather difficult time since November when I had an acute kidney injury as a result of the cancer spend time at the hospital and center providers. I want to spend a few months visiting with my family and getting stronger physically.
