@witzend - I moved your post here so that you could speak with another Mayo Clinic Connect member who has considered the Nevro spinal cord stimulator (Nevro HFX) for back pain, @beryl. Here is where your post is now:

@witzend, have you had the chance to speak to your primary care doctor about this device and what he or she might suggest? If so, what did they say?

I had the implant done. It didn’t work for me so I had the surgeon remove it during my lumbar fusion.

@lisalucier Not yet. Just getting my ducks in a row before asking my doctor. About a year ago, I talked to my pain and management doctor who said I wasn't a good candidate for the Boston scientificc unit. But that's before I had an operation for a pinch nerve.
