Why do I cough up mucus at the end of every meal?

Hi,I have the same .after meal or drink even water I have clearly mucus coming out from the throat ,I don't know what to do what that .can someone help me too.to tell me what that also sometimes feel my throat like pain burn .

I had this and the problem was reflux, which was exacerbated by lots of coughing. My GI doctor told me to take twice my usual dose of Pepcid to settle things down, then go back to my usual dose. It worked - as long as I don’t lie down soon after eating, or I don’t get really bad coughing spells, in which case I take extra Pepcid again.
