I am new to this group. I have had UTI'S for years. Now they are looking for a cyst, tumor or any blockage in the ureter. Anyone has this? IS IT PAINFUL AND WHERE ARE YOU IN PAIN.

@dudleyfore welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I am sorry that you have experienced UTI’s for such a long time. You said “they are looking for a cyst, tumor or any blockage in the ureter.” Is this under the care of a urologist &/or nephrologist? It is helpful to think nephrology - kidneys,
urology - bladder.
The ureters connect the two.
Do you have appointments set up for “them” to continue looking for problems with the ureters? Let us know what you find out?
