I had my prostate removed a year ago and I am still dealing with some urinary incontinence and ED.
I am 69 and I have tried with no success to get an erection suitable for intercourse since the operation. Viagra and Cialis do not work. I recently moved up to Trimix Double strength (30-2-20) and have still been unable to get a proper erection. I tried 30 ml, then 60, then 100ml. without success. I am thinking of trying a low daily dose of Cialis to help, and my pharmacy is mixing up Trimix at the (30-2-50) strength and I will try that. If anyone has any insight into this I’d appreciate advice. It’s been very frustrating.

This was covered at one of the Mayo Clinic’s monthly meetings. The problem is that in some cases the lining around the penis gets damaged and leaks, as a result It’s impossible to get an erection that will stay for any amount of time..

In that case, the real solution is getting an implant. While, it sounds sort of unconventional they turn out to be very popular, almost 90% of the people that get them really like them.. They can just pump up to a full erection and work just like a normal one. It is covered by insurance to have one put in. Other people in this forum have used them and have been very pleased.

I will include some slides from the talk so you can get an idea what’s going on.

The same company that creates the AUS (Artificial urinary sphincter) That stops Incontinence they have an implant that works very well. Here is a link to the device.

@byng94 I have similar experiences with Trimix working to a point where it is good for oral sex, but not penetration. My solution has been to inject Trimix, then use a vacuum erection device (ved) after a few minutes. The ved adds a little extra firmness and using a constriction ring prevents blood from leaking out of the penis thus maintaining an erection for up to 30 minutes.
