@parus

The cold has me pretty much home bound and motivation has been running low. Discouraged trying to get anywhere with doctors. Up to me to keep motivated in an attempt to keep depression at bay. Just so tired all of the time. It will pass.

@parus So true, this too will pass.

@parus as for the cold, like they say, "if you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes, it'll change". Lol
Being stuck inside does do a number on a person's mood. Keep busy, maybe do a little inside exercise or work on a hobby. That helps my mood tremendously.

@parus as @jodeej commented, try to exercise a bit. I honestly do find it lifts my spirits. From WebMD, "When you exercise, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain. Endorphins also trigger a positive feeling in the body, similar to that of morphine.Feb 21, 2018".
Yesterday I stayed home and was feeling a bit down about a couple of things. I finally did 7 miles on my recumbent bike and really did help.
I am sure that working on a hobby might help too, but I have no hobbies beyond the computer. I don't do much complex cooking these days, it's all fattening, and I have to really watch that.

Yes, the cold makes me tired as well, @parus. I got out for a short drive this morning (a big mistake today) when I got home I was tense from the white-knuckle driving. So I ate, did some Tai-Chi and went to sleep for an hour. Feel better now. No more driving until the roads are cleared better. Yikes...what a lot of snow and it's blowing.
