I am so sorry to hear what you have been- and still are- going through. I also feel that, so far, every medical intervention that has supposed to help, has made things worse. But it is hard not to keep trying in case something eases things at least a little.
Like you, too, I can’t quite believe that the active, healthy person I once was, has gone. I think we’re both dealing with a lot of grief over that.
I do so hope you find some comfort in knowing you are not alone- especially in the long dark hours at night. We will get through this, somehow! 💪🤗

@puffinmum thank you for your lovely reply and support. Yes it’s very hard to think that what we do to try and fix things sometimes just makes them worse . If only we all had hindsight . Let me know what you are trying out to help with pain and sleep . Coming off this awful sleeping pill is terrible . I hate drugs . I only take about 35 to 40 mg pregabalin which really isn’t enough for nerve pain but I am scared to take more. Paracetamol (tylenol) is useless but I won’t take opioids so it leaves nothing really . Quiviviq sometimes helps at night but they all make your muscles weak and leave you tired next day. By the way I also now have ME:CFS. 🌷
