@gram13 It is hard, the waiting. The doctors look for different thresholds, CRAB symptoms, M spike, genetics, and others to see if/when SMM might turn into MM. In a way I'm lucky, I will get treatment before it becomes MM; most people have MM detected after CRAB or other symptoms. I'm 72 and my kappa level is 932 mg/L (378 6 mo before), and still not at the level for treatment.
