Anyone still need any pain med (even over the counter) postsurgery?

I only needed meds for a few days. My only advice is to wait until PT starts about 3 to 4 weeks after the surgery to do anything other than walking. I felt so good after 2 weeks I started lifting light weights at the gym and messed up my left side after he just fixed my right side. I now am still dealing with sciatic pain on my left side 7 months later. Go slow in recovery even if it is just a minor decompression surgery. Good luck and stay positive!
