Hi…my name is Sonia and I suffered a traumatic brain injury 6 weeks ago when I slipped on ice and hit my head. This is a first for me..all other injuries and surgeries have been somewhat predictable but not this.
I spent 2 days in the hospital and came home with nausea, dizziness, loss of smell and taste, pain in the head and extreme tiredness. I live alone so that’s been a challenge both physically and emotionally since I’m usually a vibrant and active senior.
I just started to drive a little recently and saw some improvement in my recovery and then yesterday…extreme vertigo, loss of appetite and nausea.
