Make sure your dentist checks your upper back molars, especially if you've had fillings/crowns there. My dentist suspected an abscessed tooth (it was a little sensitive at times but never really hurt). The odontogenic sinusitis was discovered via a CBCT scan at the endodontist. The infection actually had eroded the bone and it never showed up on a regular sinus CT scan.
