Lung nodules found: I smoke and vape and I'm worried

0.9mm lung nodule. Smoker since 16yrs. Im almost 51 young now. SOB at t

Ive been vaping now for almost 3 years d/t the smell. I just can't stop! Scared

@joyb1975, Thanks for sharing your update. Discussions with a pulmonologist is a good next step. Getting the pathology of the nodule is the only way to know for sure what these are. Here's a link to an explanation of the usual procedure that is used, bronchoscopy.

I've had this procedure several times, and it is generally well tolerated.

@lls8000 thank you! Hope your doing well. My D-Dimer lab test came back and it was almost 8000!!! The CT did rule out a pulmonary embolism. Still coughing. They also confirmed bronchitis. Chest tightness. I have a f/u with my primary this Thursday....

I’m in a similar situation! Lung Cancer stage 4. Been smoking for close to 50 years. Can’t seem to lay them down! Very scary indeed! I’m gonna pray for both of us about this!

@kizzie62, after 50 years of smoking, I can imagine it's hard break the habit, not to mention the stress of it and stage 4 lung cancer.
