I was on Ability for a while. I worked. But, I couldn't afford $100.00 Copay for a supply of 30 pills. I cut it off.

Now, I am on Solid and.its.not working. The Dr says I have to work.

Wait and see kind of response.

Thank you for asking this.important question.

myacct123, you might check out stellate ganglion block https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/treatments/17507-stellate-ganglion-block It's easy, quick and painless without sedation. Best wishes.

Many years ago I went to a SHEN body energy practitioner for relief from my anxiety/depression. Many memories of pain from childhood surfaced. I was so impressed I went to a 7 day workshop where I learned the practice. It is similar to Reiki, a better known energy practice. They are based on the theory that memories and emotions are stored in our chakras, a term for these 7 energy centers. A good Shen or Reiki master can sense where to place their hands to help release stuffed emotions. After 7 days of 14 sessions I was medication free which lasted about a year. Google Shen or Reiki to learn more. There are masters around the world. Worth a try.

Hate that autocorrect!

The medication is ABILIFY.

ABILIFY. Just making sure it is.not corrected automatically.

No. I just told the dr. That I could not afford $100.00
For 30 pills /month.

So, he prescribed and increased the dose of Zoloft that I was on aldeay.

The problem is I got tremors in both.hands from solid now.

Please tell me what I can do to prevent tremors?

Thank you dear.

ABILIFY perhaps is good for those who can afford this high copay of $100.00 per month, but I cannot.

I had progressive reaction to it.

@myacct123 —as per above, ketamine can be very helpful for some. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. I pretty much tried everything with no relief.
Then in year 15, I ran across an article about this new treatment which was experimental at Stanford. It sounded as if it might work. This was in 2022. I called and got an appt. and flew to California for this treatment called SAINT (Stanford Accelerated Intermittent Neuromodular Therapy) which is a variation on TMS (trans magnetic stimulation).
You might try regular TMS first if you haven’t. It might work for you. It didn’t for me.
SAINT is 5-10 days of back to back 15 min. TMS treatments. There are 10 treatments given each day. Because my depression had been so lengthy and severe, the 10 days were recommended. I was cured!!
It cost $26,500. Insurance didn’t cover it at that point.

But don’t panic! The treatment now runs about $6500 and most insurance (Medicare, too) covers at least part of it. Also, you don’t have to go to California. Since it is a now accepted treatment, there are centers all over the country.
