Support Group for Those of Us Living With Mild Dementia

I know there is a Dementia Caregiver Support Group.

I would like to have a group for people like me. I am entering the Mild Dementia phase from Mild Cognitive Impairment.
It’s frightening to think about my future.

Could a group for Dementia Patients be started?

I am still a member of AARP. I don't remember seeing any of their news booklet of lately.

@vijay26 I belonged twenty years ago but left because all the mail I got was from travel agencies and insurance companies.

In addition to mild dementia type of symptoms, I suffered stroke.
Q: Does stroke cause dementia?
My right leg is completely affected that I am unable to stand or walk. It is very frustrating. My Drs are not treating my Type II Diabetes, which I think might have.caused stroke. I do not know anything.

Please help. Provide advice

@vijay26 seems you are in a facility where doctors are tone deaf! I definitely would insist on a consult with a social worker and/or the hospital’s patient advocate!

Good morning all and Happy Easter.
Just checking in.
I’m home now after being out of town on a project for some time.
The week has been typical - ups and downs and setting structure back up at home.
2 days ago I woke with amazing clarity the whole day, weird thing was the following day/ yesterday I drifted into a fog and some visual distortions, heavier later in the day.
I can’t help but think my day of clarity I was so driven and must have done to much, as I was taking advantage of the moment.
That being said,
I have to poke fun at my condition I'm going to hide Easter eggs this morning so later on I can hunt for them. 😁
