@grammato3 He is at Fox Chase Cancer center in Philadelphia. They have him on two Chemotherapy treatments, one IV and one oral, plus oral corticosteroids. He seems to be responding favorable to the treatment. The lessons are scabbing and the mouth sores seem to be abating slightly. He has lesions on his ears, nose, neck, back - just about everywhere.

@jwhiteside How horribly uncomfortable for him! Did he also have some of the associated issues of joint/muscle pain and headaches? Although I've not had this particular condition, I've treated for a type of colitis this past fall and winter that had such associated issues as enteropathic arthritis that caused pain and swelling in my joints. Not even the ER I'd gone to when I had about 60 cc of fluid in my knee were aware of that condition. So, I'm glad to know he's in a good place where he's getting appropriate care and responding well.
@grammato3 He hasn’t complained about joint pain. It may be that the pain from the sores in his mouth was so bad that he couldn’t concentrate on pain anywhere else. The steroids (or chemo) have given him some relief in the last 24 hours though. Yes, I will stay in touch and keep you updated. Thank you for engaging with me.grammato3 He hasn’t complained about joint pain. It may be that the pain from the sores in his mouth was so bad that he couldn’t concentrate on pain anywhere else. Can you keep in touch with his progress?
