@joyeous I try to follow the directions closely but no matter how hard I press the gray button the needle fails to inject. Yesterday I thought I had it for sure. When I took the injector away from my skin the needle popped out and sprayed medicine all over me. Before giving up I asked my daughter for help and she was successful. So far I have wasted 3 injections. The company replaced 2. I spoke to a company representative and went to my pharmacist for assistance. I am a failure at autoinjection.

@phyllisq were you able to determine why needle did not come out when you pressed gray button?

@phyllisq This might sound odd, but I find that injecting into my stomach is the easiest and least painful. Pinch your skin a few inches away from your belly button, press and hold the injector against your pinch and push the button. I turn the injector so I can watch the window and hold it in place for a second or 2 after it stops moving.

@phyllisq they must be defective pens, mine are very easy, I don't have to push hard at all . Been using them since 2018.
