Any info Vaccine Trial for Pancreatic Cancer?

Posted by gamaryanne @gamaryanne, Mar 22 8:04am

Is anyone here on this type of trial? Perhaps at MSK , Mayo, or other?
Has anyone made contact with a group sponsoring vaccine trials that have been helpful?

I seem to be hitting dead ends and feel I could be a good candidate for it.

? What is the name of the trial?

If you’re looking for a clinical trial, TRICAN (Translational Research Initiative for Pancreatic Cancer) has a helpful, easy-to-use list of pancreatic cancer trials in plain English. It can make it much easier to see what studies are available and where they’re being offered.

@mcharlesfrancis "Is anyone here on this type of trial?" The poster did not name the type of trial? That was what my question was about.

I am not sure of the name of the Phase II trial this article refers to, but MD Anderson does seem to have a vaccine trial underway. You may want to contact them. https://www.mdanderson.org/cancerwise/exploring-pancreatic-cancer-vaccines--what-s-next--.h00-159702279.html

@56pan You all may have seen this article, but MSK seems to be co-sponsoring the study that MD Anderson is leading: https://www.mskcc.org/news/vaccine-targeting-kras-in-pancreatic-and-colorectal-cancer-shows-promise

@gamaryanne, here are some potential trials related to vaccines and pancreatic cancer from Mayo Clinic:

A Study of a Personalized Cancer Vaccine Targeting Shared Neoantigens https://www.mayo.edu/research/clinical-trials/cls-20478019
Scottsdale/Phoenix, AZ; Jacksonville, FL; Rochester, MN

- The purpose of this study is to evaluate the dose, safety, immunogenicity and early clinical activity of GRT-C903 and GRT-R904, a neoantigen-based therapeutic cancer vaccine, in combination with immune checkpoint blockade, in patients with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer, microsatellite stable colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, and shared neoantigen-positive tumors.
