I'm just reading your post today 4/1/26. It doesn't say if you had your ablation in 2025 or 2026. I am wondering how you are progressing.
I had an ablation for SVT and PVC but I am still getting both, so I opted to stay on Metoprolol since I still have an arrhythmia.
I had my ablation in August of 2025. My doctor was optimistic that both problems would be corrected, but they weren't. The palpitations are much less severe than before, but they are not gone.

@bch72 Sorry about that. My ablation was in March 2026, so I'm in the "blanking" period. No svt episodes , but time will tell. I'm still getting a few PACs a day, but nothing particularly bothersome at this time. I'm still on metoprolol but will be discussing tapering at my follow-up visit on April 23. I notice that my sleeping heart rate has dropped into the low 60's/ high 50's, which is lower than pre-ablation. I don't know if there's a cause and effect with the ablation. I will also check in on that at my follow-up visit.
